The Jala Dog Collar in Beige is a handcrafted collar made from Lignify® vegan leather — a certified biobased material derived from lignin, a by-product of the paper industry.

Most dog collars are made from nylon, genuine leather, or a generic synthetic. Nylon is functional but carries no material story. Genuine leather is durable but requires animal sourcing. Generic synthetic alternatives tend to lack both the performance and the provenance to justify a premium price. Lignify® is different on both counts.

The CAFIDE Jala Beige Collar is made from Lignify® vegan leather — a certified biobased material produced from lignin, the structural compound extracted from wood during paper manufacturing. The paper industry generates over 100 million tonnes of lignin waste annually; Lignify® is a certified technology that converts that waste stream into a durable, leather-like material without petroleum-based polymers or animal products. The zamak buckle and rings — a zinc, aluminium, magnesium, and copper alloy that exceeds the tensile strength of steel — provide secure, durable fastening that does not bend or degrade under the repeated daily load of a dog collar. Suitable For

Dogs of all breeds within the available size ranges. Use the size guide below to select by neck circumference. If your dog sits between two sizes, choose the larger. Size XS fits toy poodles, whereas Cavapoos and Maltipoos should go for size S. Cockapoos are advised to choose size M or L. 

Size Guide

Measure your dog's neck circumference at the point where the collar would sit and add 2–3 cm for comfort. One to two fingers should sit comfortably between the collar and the neck once fitted.
