How to choose a gift for a dog lover

A small gesture

An illustrated dog postcard works on its own or tucked into a larger gift. Heavy natural paper and a blank back make it easy to write a personal note.

For Christmas

Holiday dog cards and an illustrated wall calendar for the new year are gifts that stay on display long after the season.

For a new dog owner

An A5 notebook keeps training progress, feeding plans and vet visits in one place. A cotton tote bag carries treats, poop bags and a towel on every walk.

For everyday use

Stoneware mugs and cups with dog designs, and accessories such as bag charms, are gifts the owner sees every day.

Add something for the dog

Pair a gift for the owner with something for the dog: natural dog treats or a dog toy chosen for chewing and play.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good gift for a dog lover?

Choose something they will use or keep. A hand-illustrated dog postcard works as a small gesture or alongside another gift. For something more lasting, an illustrated wall calendar, an A5 notebook or a printed cotton tote bag is used every day. Stoneware mugs with dog designs suit anyone who starts the day with coffee and a walk.

What should I give a new puppy owner?

New owners have a lot to keep track of, so an A5 notebook for training progress, feeding plans and vet visits is useful from week one. A cotton tote bag holds treats, poop bags and a towel for walks. Add a card and something for the puppy itself, such as soft training treats or a teething toy.

How fast do gifts ship from SPLOOT?

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days and you receive a tracking link by email. Delivery in Denmark takes 1–3 business days and costs DKK 49, free over DKK 1,000. EU delivery takes 3–7 business days for DKK 199. For Christmas gifts, order early enough to allow for seasonal delays.
