The Large Oval Slicker Brush is the professional groomer's primary tool for undercoat removal in medium and long-coated coated dogs. Used wet during bathing — with conditioner still sitting in the coat — it draws out large volumes of loose undercoat before rinsing, making subsequent brushing, drying, and finishing significantly more efficient. It is also effective on a dry coat for routine maintenance between washes.
