Recommendations & preparation

• Nails should be clipped every 4–8 weeks, depending on activity and growth.
• On dogs with long black nails, it is advised to come every week or every second week to begin with, so we shorten the quick gradually. 
• On dogs with black nails, it can be difficult to see exactly where the quick (blood vessel) ends. In rare cases, this may cause light bleeding even with professional care. We always work slowly and use stop-bleeding powder if necessary, ensuring your dog remains safe and comfortable.
• Please arrive with your dog calm and relatively clean.
• If your dog has special needs (medications, history of bleeding, anxiety), mention it to the groomer.
• For puppies, we recommend a short introductory session to build trust.
